The week-long schedule of festivities celebrates the Preakness horse race, a well-known sporting event held at Baltimore's own Pimlico Race Track. The schedule includes a full roster of events leading up to the Triple Crown race, including a Hot Air Balloon Festival and a parade that runs through Charles and Pratt streets downtown.
